Sasha Sembur

Sasha Sembur is a political science researcher and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development at North Carolina State University. She serves as the Operational Research Analyst for the University of North Carolina System, where she conducts digital threat assessments and contributes to security and emergency response planning for all 17 UNC schools and its four affiliates. Through this role, she also works with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation as a Field Liaison Officer.

Sasha has experience in state government with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and the Office of the Governor. She has also worked in communications and voter outreach for numerous political campaigns.

She earned her B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies from UNC Charlotte and is especially interested in education and election policy research.
