Jaemin Baek

Fellow for Trade & Economic Security

Jaemin Baek is a Fellow for Trade & Economic Security at the Rainey Center where he studies and develops policy solutions for how America can strengthen its global competitiveness and bolster its economic security by partnering with key allies and like-minded neighbors, particularly in the Indo-Pacific.

Mr. Baek is also a Director at Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), part of DGA Group, where he advises clients navigating the U.S.-Korea commercial relationship as well as in the broader East Asia & Pacific. Mr. Baek works closely with Korean companies, industry groups, and government representatives overseeing the bilateral relationship to both facilitate advocacy and partnership opportunities on both sides of the Pacific. Mr. Baek has advised clients on a broad range of issue areas, including energy, biotech, agri-food, industrials, philanthropy, amongst others, to accomplish their objectives.

Mr. Baek concurrently serves as an Advisor to The Sejong Society of Washington, D.C., a non-partisan organization dedicated to informing, developing, and connecting young professionals interested and engaged in U.S.-Korea affairs.

 Prior to Joining ASG, Mr. Baek was based in Singapore at PwC’s International Growth Practice where he developed holistic market entry strategies for companies looking to navigate complex, but opportunity-rich, environments.

Mr. Baek received a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University and completed coursework at Yonsei University.
