The 2020 Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyer Association Annual Juvenile Law Conference brought together (virtually) over 150 attorneys from across the state to participate in a day-and-a-half conference on the latest news and updates in child welfare law. Fellow Meghan Bishop was invited to keynote on increasing the level of advocacy for attorneys who represent children who are involved in the foster care system, including best practices surrounding visitation and reunification in the time of COVID. Her presentation was roundly praised for the level of detail, new information, and practical tips - also her Rainey Purple hair.
