Due to the recent global events surrounding the spread of COVID-19, the Rainey Center would like to update you on the necessary steps our organization is implementing at the recommendation of public health experts. In order to mitigate the further spread of the virus in accordance with WHO and CDC guidance, we are suspending all non-essential work travel for our employees and partners, including our legislators and experts slated to participate in the LAMP Forum next month in Washington, DC. Everyone’s health is our greatest priority and we have therefore implemented remote work for all Rainey Center team members.
The Rainey Center is closely monitoring the effects of the disease on communities, states and national public policy. We will continue to provide our members with analysis, issue advocacy and remote support during this unprecedented situation.
While the COVID-19 outbreak remains a rapidly changing and fluid situation from a public health perspective, the Rainey Center and LAMP is committed to keeping our legislators, policy makers and partners informed. Additionally, our LAMP Forum will now take place this fall in Washington, D.C. on September 8-10, 2020.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the LAMP forum or any other issue.
