Bishop Garrison authors short story, "Flicker On"

By Jacqueline Isaacs

Experts speculate on what the impact will be of artificial intelligence (AI) as it continues to learn and integrate into more areas of our modern lives. In a recent short-fiction story published by VICE, our co-founder and president, Bishop Garrison, shares one possible future told through the experience of an AI soldier coping with the trauma of war.

Garrison said, "I based this writing loosely on my own experiences as a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as a West Point graduate and a national security professional working within and for the government since 2010."
