Garrison calls the criticism of Rep. Omar a distraction from the White House’s issues

By Jacqueline Isaacs

Bishop Garrison, co-founder and president of the Rainey Center, recently joined Brian Darling, founder and president of Liberty Government Affairs, on MSNBC discussing Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) comments regarding 9/11 and the critical responses from President Trump and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX).

The bottom line, according to Garrison,  is that the administration is using this freshman representative as an outlet to distract from its own problems, calling this  “an opportunity to distract from everything else that is happening in this White House that is on fire right now.” He concluded his comments on the matter saying, “we should move on to more important things.”

Garrison graduated from West Point in 2002, and served two deployments in Iraq while in the Army.
