Later today, Rainey Center co-founder and CEO Sarah Hunt will be leading a keynote lunch discussion at the Canadian Wind Energy Association's (CANWEA) Annual Conference on the topic of "Why Conservatives Love Wind Energy."
The three-day conference is being held in Calgary and brings together more than 1,500 clean energy industry leaders and decision-makers from around the world.
Sarah will be joined by North Carolina State Rep. Jason Saine, a Republican who also currently serves as the national chair for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). The purpose of today's lunch is to discuss "how, where, and why U.S. conservatives have advocated for and supported clean energy development, and why it makes so much sense."
More information about the conference is available on CANWEA's website.
